A Christian education
Southern Christian College is a learning community built on the foundation of the Christian faith. We aim to ensure our values shape all aspects of College life, whether it be in the classroom, the playground, the sports field or other extra-curricular activities.
The College’s teachers lead students in an exploration of the world around them in a nurturing and Christ-centred environment. We help students to understand the bible’s teaching through daily devotions, weekly Christian Studies lessons, prayer groups and Assembly presentations.
Christian perspective will be authentically embedded within lessons across all learning areas. Teachers encourage students to pose and explore possible answers to their questions.
Australian curriculum
As students from Prep to Year 10 learn through the IB curriculum, they are developing the knowledge and skills that is covered by the Australian Curriculum.
